8 Hour Quad Safari & Cruise

Enjoy an exciting 8-hour excursion with us to explore the marine and terrestrial nature of the Akamas Peninsula, in the western region of Cyprus. Amazing views can be seen from every angle: the blue ocean, stunning cliffs and lush green landscape.
Itinerary

The tour will begin at 10 a.m. For safety checks and briefings, it is highly recommended that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the tour.

The journey will begin, with us heading towards the shipwreck that measures 80 meters in length and the stunning sea caves along the coast of Paphos. You will enjoy the rush of driving along winding roads through banana plants on our way from St. George Harbour to Lara with its famous turtle nestling grounds.

Moving onwards, we will stop at the magnificent viewpoint of Akamas Forest. The forest is famous for its olive and pine trees as well as its history as it was named after the son Theseus, the mythical king of Athens. Our final destination will be reached by driving through the Smigies Picnic Site, a tiny gem on Akamas Peninsula. We will then travel to Latchi Harbor (Polis) where we will embark on the Blue Lagoon cruise in a special glass-bottom vessel. This is a fantastic opportunity to admire and discover the sea world from up high, and also to enjoy breathtaking views of mountains and the sea.

Throughout the Lagoon boat trip, you will have ample time to swim in the turquoise waters and marvel at the underwater world. We will then begin our return journey to Coral Bay, passing through some beautiful little villages of Paphos.

Course of events

09:30 Arrival at the meeting location for a short safety briefing.

10:00 Start of the tour towards Coral Beach at Pegeia.

10:15 Explore the shipwreck and sea caves.

10:40 St. George’s Harbor

11:30 Akamas Reserve and Lara Turtle Conservation Station

12:30 Akamas Forest and Viewpoint

13:15 Lunch at Latchi Harbor in Polis Chrysochous

13:40 Boarding for the Blue Lagoon Trip

18:00 Back at Coral Bay

Activity requirements

Drivers must hold a valid driving license (category B).

Do not forget to bring
