Tajana Boat tour to Rab and Pag

Organized by Tajana Krk

Join thousands of our guests on a wonderful full-day boat trip to islands Rab and Pag from the town of Krk!
Magnificent scenery, 1600 years old olive trees, seagulls (and maybe dolphins!) - all that and more awaits you on this journey. Our boat Tajana, our captain and the friendly top-notch crew will make sure you can relax and have an awesome day.

The details:
You can board Tajana boat from 8:30. After we set sail from the shore at 9:30 towards Rab island, you will relax with a complimentary drink and enjoy the stunning landscape of islands Prvić and Sveti Grgur with the great mountain Velebit behind them. On the other side, the largest Croatian island Cres will give you an excellent opportunity for taking beautiful photos.
After arrival on island Rab in the town of Rab around 11:30, we will either direct you towards a clear blue water beach or our guide will take you on a 45 minutes tour (in English, German, Italian, Croatian). Through the magnificent history and charming architecture, you will learn about the most beautiful cathedral bell-tower of its kind on our coast, you will „meet“ the founder of San Marino in his beautiful garden and you will hear the surprising legend of St. Christopher.
At 14:00 we will serve a delicious Croatian lunch as we continue our trip to Pag. Once we reach Lun, the northernmost village of the island, you will have some free time to explore the largest wild olive grove in the world. With over 80,000 trees, some of which are up to 1,600 years old, it has a very special atmosphere. After walking around the gardens and enjoying the shade of the millennial trees, you will have another chance to cool off in the clear blue water of the Adriatic, either at a local beach or near the boat.
On our way back, make sure you prepare your cameras - the stunning coastline of Rab and Krk will be there to serve either as beautiful background for your selfies or as the main object of your photos. Also, if we're lucky, we might spot some friendly dolphins swimming and jumping in the open sea. Before we reach the port, we pass by the breathtaking Golden beach and the islet of Galun, where we will feed the seagulls. The photos you see here are not photoshopped – the seagulls are so happy (or hungry, or both) we feed them that they will follow us for quite a while. This is another excellent opportunity to take spectacular photos while these smart birds hover beside the ship and playfully hunt for pieces of bread.
Arrival in Krk is expected around 18:00 hours.
We recommend that you bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, a hat and a camera with you.

Very friendly and helpful staff. From the first step on the boat all was well organized, even a short guided tour through Rab and the Olive Garden at Lun. The lunch was well organized, well tasting and the route the boat took offered beautiful sceneries on the different islands we passed. The only thing that could be improved is the information during the booking process:
the participants should be asked whether they need a bus transfer to Krk Harbour and from where. Thank you and the boat staff for this real highlight of our holiday.
