Boat Excursion - Vrsar-Lim Bay-Rovinj

As a family business which offers its services since 2007, we know the best way to spend a hot sunny day in Istria - a boat ride from the Vrsar harbor, passing little island St. George and heading towards the beautiful Lim Bay and then the magnificent Rovinj.

We start our trip at Lidija Tours' meeting point in Vrsar and set out at 11:30 so make sure to join us 10-15 minutes before that.
As soon as we head towards Lim Bay, you can sit and relax with drinks (water, juices, wine, and schnapps) and enjoy the view of the picturesque St. George island, which plays a crucial part in defending Vrsar from harsh waves and winds.

Once in Lim Bay, we will visit the Pirate Cave, which is believed to have been home to Henry Morgan, a pirate who found a safe haven and hid inside with his treasure! Here, we will take a 30-minute break so you can take a refreshing dip in the water, buy souvenirs, or have a snack.

The next stop on the ride is Rovinj, a peninsula that used to be an island. On our way there, we pass the biggest naturist camp in Croatia, FKK Koversada, if something like that floats your boat (pun intended), but don't worry - it's completely family safe.
Apon arrival in Rovinj, you have two and a half hours for exploring, which is more than enough to get a glimpse of what this Istria's pearl is offering. We invite you to join us on our short 30-minute guided tour (included in the price) so you can, like a local, discover the hidden gems of this place. However, you can do it on your own as well. The sights you shouldn't miss are the Church of St. Euphemia, the Franciscan monastery and the tree of friendship. Along with that, the town is packed with archeological sites and many Instagram-worthy cafes and photo ops where you can snap a pic and share your joy with the world.

At 15:50, it's time to head towards the Vrsar harbor. On the way back, take a look at the islands surrounding Rovinj and the seagulls following the boat. Also, it's worth mentioning that children can get their picture taken at the captain's rudder!
As you can see, this trip is a great idea for the whole family - you may feel a little tired from a packed day, but that is a nice kind of tiredness and a part of the memorable experience!
