Mountain Velebit, Croatian longest mountain range, stretches along the Adriatic sea from Vratnik above Senj in northwest to Zrmanja river southeast. Its length is 145 km. Abounds in nature diversity, unique karst landscapes and history. Because of its distinctive features it was proclaimed a nature park in 1982.

Our day excursion Velebit Photo Safari by terrain vehicles (4x4 LR D) leads you through the scenic hinterland routes and stunning scenery of unspoiled nature.

We'll take you to the southern slopes of Velebit mountain where you'll enjoy beautiful views of Adriatic sea and Zadar archipelago in one, and Paklenica National Park and Sveto brdo summit on the other side. You'll be amazed by the surrounding sights and fragrances.
Short drives are combined with many stops for easy walk, photo shooting, refreshments and lunch which we serve at the typical rural household. Our guides will teach you about life of cattle-breeders who lived here on the same way for thousands of years, about some interesting facts of Velebit, its wildlife and more...
We'll drive up to 1000 m a.s.l. to the foothills of Tulove grede – a very picturesque limestone cliff well known among Winnetou fans as well as is the River Zrmanja Canyon, where films of legendary Indian hero – Winnetou were shot (based on the novels of very favored German novelist Karl May).

What to bring: light hiking or sports footwear, small backpack, raingear, sun cream, fleece jacket, small water bottle, camera, swimwear, money, ID.
Not recommended for pregnant women, people with back problems or who had a recent back surgery.
